The educational program that the new IOA administration has announced was acknowledged by the International Olympic Committee. The IOC decided to include in the 13th Olympic Congress’ conclusions the presence of the President and the members of the Academy as well as the important IOA intervention of Mr Isidoros KOUVELOS speech.

The IOA’s presence in the 13th Olympic Congress is included in the final outcomes of the Congress where the IOC declares their compete support to the work of the IOA. This fact opens new horizons for the IOA action and the Olympic Education future while showing the important results of the consistent policy and the prospective of development of the IOA work under its new administration.

Olympic Park in Ancient Olympia

The IOA President, Mr Isidoros KOUVELOS, attended a modest ceremony in Olympia, the birthplace of Olympism. The Olympic Academy of Hungary offered IOA a statue, a symbolic gesture in view of the creation of an Olympic Park in the Academy’s premises. Besides, that was the dream of the unforgettable IOA President, Nikos FILARETOS.
