The Hellenic Olympic Committee has unanimously decided to address to the President of the International Olympic Academy, Mr. Isidoros KOUVELOS, the presidency of the National Olympic Academy for the period 2009-12.

The dissemination of the Olympic Education and the Olympic Ideal in Greece and especially in the young people, as well as the development and the application of the educational principles of the Olympic Movement, will be the objectives of the National Olympic Academy.

 The Plenary Session has appointed to the Board of Directors of the National Olympic Academy 7 out of 13 members.
