The Sudan Olympic Academy was established in 1992 and its structure consists of three levels: The Sudan Olympic Academy Board headed by the Sudan Olympic Committee President, the Sudan Olympic Academy Directorate Manager and, lastly, the Administration which includes training, research and information. Activities of the Sudan Olympic Academy:

1. Exploration of athletes for sustaining the International Olympic Committee programme for gifted care (5 th October 2005).
2. National lectures training programme (12 th November 2005).
3. National lectures training programme held by the IOC (December 2005).
4. Athletic Union strategic preparatory workshop to be updated with the coming Olympic Games.
