The principal aim of the Costa Rica Academy is to promote the fundamental principles and values of Olympism in their country. Thus, in agreement with the Public Education Ministry, they have developed and published a newsletter about the Olympic Education Programme that had been implemented by the Hellenic Ministry of Education since 2001 & European Union along the European countries ( Programa de Education Olimpica, Informe Annual 2004).
Furthermore, the Costa Rica Olympic Academy coordinated with the National Physical Advisory Office. They also created strategic alliances with ‘Diaro Extra', which issued weekly all the articles of this program as part of its sport section. These articles functioned as basic didactic material in homework and assignments of the whole student population.
