The Olympic Academy of Puerto Rico has been active since 1994.  Its purpose is to contribute to the development of educative programs that diffuse and analyze the history, normative and Olympic ideals.  The Academy participates and promotes sports and cultural activities that help its staff teach the true Olympic Postulates, through sports as a vehicle of education so they can reinforce the importance of teamwork and cooperation to obtain goals, to develop self-steam and the concepts of fair game.  The Academy helps preserve the history of sports in Puerto Rico by means of conferences, studies, and investigations.  There is a section on the web page of the Olympic Committee.
