The Olympic Movement

The curriculum examines the Olympic Idea of Pierre de Coubertin and his writings.

The formation and transformations of the IOC over the years and their impact, as well as that of the respective IOC Presidents, on changes in the Olympic Movement, and the Olympic Games are also covered.

The Olympic Charter is examined, as is the history of the introduction of the Winter Olympic Games, the development of Olympic Institutions, the Paralympic, Special Olympics and Sports for All Movements.
