Both in 2019 and 2020, the Olympic Academy of Spain organized a series of actions to promote Olympic education, until the time of the coronavirus spread. On June 20th, 2019, the annual meeting of the Spanish Olympic Philately Union took place in Barcelona, in the presence of the President of the Academy, Conrado Durántez.From 26 to 28 September, Conrado Durántez gave several lectures on the philosophy of Olympism, at the I International Congress on Olympism and at the II Latin American Symposium Pierre de Coubertin held at the University of Pereira in Colombia. On October 18th, the Royal Olympic Academy of Spain awarded Samuel Baltar recognition for the redesign of its logo and for the design of the logo to commemorate its 50th anniversary in 2018.

The event, which took place at the headquarters of the Centre for Olympic Studies at the University of Vigo, was also attended by the Vice-Rector of the University of Vigo, Jorge Soto, the President of the Academy, Conrado Durántez, the Director of the Centre for Olympic Studies of the University of Vigo, Maria José Martínez Patiño, the member of the Academy, Pablo Galán, its associate, David Acevedo and the director of the Centre for Olympic Studies of the University of Santiago de Compostela, Xesús Pena.A conference on Olympism was held on 6 November at the Núñez de Arce Training Center in Valladolid, in the presence of President Conrado Durántez. He also gave a speech entitled "Olympic Philosophy” during the Canarian Olympic Moments organized by the Centre for Olympic Studies of the University of Las Palmas in Gran Canaria.

The Session of the Spanish Olympic Academy was held from 2 to 4 December at the Pablo Olavide University in Seville.On 27 February 2020, the Centre for Olympic Studies of del Atlántico University organized a special activity addressed to students of sport and physical education in Santander. The activity was led by the director of the Center and Olympic champion Ruth Beitia, while the member of the Royal Spanish Olympic Academy, Pablo Galán gave a lecture with the title "Spanish women in the Olympic Games".

On the other side, students Esther Villar and Jon Gómez commented about their participation in the 59th Session for Young Participants of the International Olympic Academy, held in Olympia in 2019. On March 11th, the President of the Spanish Olympic Committee, Alejandro Blanco, the president of the Royal Spanish Olympic Academy, Conrado Durántez, and the rector of the University of Deusto, José María Guibert, signed a document to create a Centre for Olympic Studies at that Basque university.
